Commercial litigation PA/secretary — Aberdeen

Our commercial litigation team in Aberdeen is looking for a proactive and organised PA to provide administrative support.

The role

We’re looking for a PA/secretary to join the ranks of our busy commercial litigation team in Aberdeen city centre office.

We’re known for our personable, responsive and pragmatic approach. In the role, you’ll support the partners and solicitors in the litigation team delivering a professional client service.

The role includes —

  • Diary management for solicitors and partners

  • Coordinating emails and calls from clients

  • Document management (and some audio typing)

  • Document production, including reports, presentations, court or arbitration papers

  • Client case administration, including compliance, billing, accounts file opening and closing

Our ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience in administration, client facing or secretarial roles in one of our teams. Previous court experience is helpful but not essential.

You’ll be able to demonstrate you —

  • Can deal effectively and politely with clients by email and telephone

  • Are well organised and can multitask

  • Are unflappable with a great communication style

  • Understand accounts

Candidates should have an understanding of accounts, and law undergraduates seeking experience in a legal environment will also be considered.
