The role

Our team represents a wide range of clients across various sectors, including international energy companies, as well as landowners involved in renewable energy projects such as wind turbines, battery storage, solar, and hydro-electric developments. We also work with national housebuilders, developers and property investors.

The candidates will join a collaborative department comprising personal assistants, a paralegal, trainees, qualified solicitors, senior associates, partners and consultants.

This position covers all aspects of commercial property law, with opportunities to specialise in specific areas.

The role involves —

  • Drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements

  • Landlord and tenant leasing and management documentation

  • Site acquisition and assembly for housebuilders

  • Title analysis and reporting, along with other due diligence matters

  • Acquiring investment properties

  • Development sales and letting agreements

  • Secured lending transactions with banks and other lenders

  • Handling renewable energy projects, including battery storage, wind turbines, solar, and hydro-electric developments

  • Managing transactions related to hotels, restaurants, retail, and leisure sectors

You’ll receive day-to-day support and mentoring within a highly supportive department.

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial property, though we also welcome applications from those with a residential conveyancing background looking for a career change.

You’ll be able to demonstrate that you —

  • Effectively manage varied workloads while maintaining a high standard of service

  • Are proficient in relevant software, including Microsoft Office

  • Possess excellent attention to detail

  • Have strong communication, time management and organisational skills
