The roles and requirements
We are looking for a PA/secretary to join the ranks of our busy commercial litigation team in our Aberdeen city centre office.
We’re a friendly bunch, and, as experts in our field, we’re known for our personable, responsive and pragmatic approach.
You will support the partners and solicitors in the litigation team in the delivery of professional service to our clients.
You'll be able to demonstrate a proactive approach to a varied and interesting workload including —
Diary management for solicitors and partners
Manage calls and emails from clients (and some audio typing)
Document production of reports, presentations, court or arbitration papers
Client case administration, including compliance, billing, accounts file opening and closing
Our ideal candidate
The ideal candidate will likely have experience in administration, client facing or secretarial roles. Previous court experience is helpful but not essential.
It is important for you to be able to deal effectively and politely with clients by email and telephone. You'll maintain a well organised approach, able to multitask and prioritise tasks. You’ll also be an unflappable problem solver and a great communicator, demonstrating strong social skills.
Candidates should have an understanding of accounts, and law undergraduates seeking experience in a legal environment will also be considered.
