The Morningfield Association is accepting applications from elderly individuals experiencing hardship, as well as from adults facing challenges due to illness or disability.
The charity, registered in Scotland (SC030911), was established in 2000 and supports those living in Aberdeen and the area covering the former county of Kincardine in south Aberdeenshire.
The trust also provides grants to organisations, and has, in the past, supported the likes of nursing and retirement homes as well as hospitals, food banks and charitable organisations.
The association has provided grants for a wide range of applications in the past, including for art and craft supplies for local charity groups and a garden bench for sheltered housing complex residents.
Notably, the association also helped a local nursing home buy a printer for printing out images of visitors who were coming in: making it easier for residents, especially those with dementia or Alzheimer's, to understand who was coming in to see them.
